TJ Beckman

I have never been a fan of the sensationalism associated with Apple products. They have never innovated in the fields of media players, smart phones, or most recently tablet computers. They just devise some sleek interface that makes peoples' faces light up in astonishment as though the product they have in their hands was born from an egg and has never been seen by human eyes. They become part of a secret Apple society. The iPad is not the first tablet computer, nor is it the best. The 1 Ghz of ram is almost insulting for a product that costs seven hundred dollars for enough memory to be reasonably considered a computer. In the article, "new" apps are mentioned, including "The New York Times" which I imagine was met with thunderous applause. The way the iPad presents The New York Times must rival the great works of Michelangelo And da Vinci. In conclusion, I am not impressed.
