I chose batteries for the second essay. They are used to power a lot of today's electronical devices and gadgets. Some positive things about batteries are portability and capability of powering lots of items. As for negative consequences of batteries, there are instances where the battery leaks acid, they lose all their power and die, and can shock you if you are not careful.
